In June we organized the promotion event for printed edition of the Bible in modern Croatian translation as well as our Bible app (Biblija SHP). The event was held in Metel Ožegović public library in Varaždin. Goran Medved, the leader of the project and main editor of the modern Croatian translation of the Bible had a lecture on the topic of “Why Do We Need Different Translations of the Bible?”. Željka Košir, executive manager of Croatia for Christ ministry spoke about our Bible app (Biblija SHP), its features and possibilities of use. The program was hosted by Dubravko Sidor, who recorded the audio-version of the Bible used in our app. At the end of the program the participants had an opportunity to ask the speakers questions, receive the Bible in modern Croatian language in printed edition or download our free Bible app. We are looking forward to organizing such promotion events in other Croatian cities as well.
