In June we organized a summer camp for children in Varaždin, partnering with the Varaždin Church of Christ and the Next Generation for Christ ministry.
This was the third year in a row that we’ve been successfully organizing such a camp. This year’s theme was "Building Great Leaders", and as the center of the lessons we used videos for children from Next Generation for Christ ministry, which are both educational and entertaining for children. The mission team from the USA, together with the Croatian team and volunteers did a great job leading the camp and the children enjoyed learning about God through videos, songs, games and crafts. This year there were 35 Croatian and Ukrainian children at the camp. We spent the last day socializing with the parents over hot dogs and delicious American food. We made s'mores dessert, which the children were delighted with.
