In August, a seven-day family camp was held on the island of Ugljan, the 55th Bible Camp of the Churches of Christ. 55. po redu Biblijski kamp Kristove crkve.
The theme of the camp was “Put On a Full Armour of God". Church members and seekers spent a blessed time together listening to evening lectures, discussing daily topics in groups and enjoying free time socializing and swimming in the beautiful Adriatic Sea. The guest preacher this year was Seth McDowel fromShawnee Trail Church of Christ in Frisco, Texas. His evening sermons were encouraging participants to reflect on God's word and deepen their personal relationship with God. Seth and his family were a great blessing at this year’s camp and we are thankful for them coming to serve. Children and teenagers also enjoyed the camp, spending time in their groups with their leaders and learning about God through various age-appropriate activities. We especially rejoiced at the baptism of one of our teens - Tomi Nevžala from the Varaždin Church of Christ. We are thankful for our new brother in Christ and pray that God continues to lead and bless him on his faith journey.
